What does Qualicor Europe accreditation mean?

Qualicor Europe, formerly NIAZ, assesses healthcare organisations' quality systems through institution-wide accreditation and other programmes. It originates in the Netherlands and operates separately from government.

Who runs it and is it the government?

Qualicor Europe is the programme operator. If legal ownership or corporate form matters to your enquiry, request its current legal details directly rather than inferring them from an old organisation name.

Its work includes healthcare organisations in the Netherlands and Flanders. Hospitals and clinics can participate, but the word “affiliated” does not necessarily mean an organisation has received an award. Ask which stage the provider has reached.

Qualicor Europe holds organisation-level IEEA recognition for September 2026 to September 2030. Those dates concern Qualicor Europe's assessment as an evaluator. The hospital's certificate has its own dates and status. IEEA's awards directory identifies the recognised organisation.

What does it assess and for how long?

Institution-wide accreditation uses Qmentum Global to examine quality systems. Peer reviewers use tracer audits, followed by an award decision. Other certification programmes have separate standards, so establish which programme the clinic is advertising. Qualicor Europe's institution-wide accreditation information describes that particular route.

The institution-wide award lasts four years. Apply that period only to the relevant award, not automatically to every Qualicor programme. If the clinic shows an older NIAZ document, ask how it relates to its present status and request the current certificate.

Using Qmentum Global does not make the certificate an Accreditation Canada-issued award. The standards or framework used and the organisation issuing the certificate are separate details.

How do I find a clinic in its register?

Open Qualicor Europe's list of affiliated healthcare organisations. Locate the organisation and identify its programme. Read whether it is affiliated, preparing for assessment or actually awarded accreditation.

Request the current certificate if the list does not settle that distinction. An organisation's presence in the network can help you locate it, but the award decision and validity period answer the accreditation question.

What does it not tell me?

Affiliation alone does not confirm an award. Shared use of a standards framework also does not make certificates from different issuers interchangeable.

Use How to check any mark in five minutes to finish checking the claim.
