Terms of Use
Effective date: 21 October 2026
1. Operator and acceptance
These Terms govern use of the website operated by MedTourism. By using the website, a reader agrees to these Terms. Questions may be sent to the contact form at https://medtourism.guide/contact/.
2. Independent reference only
The website is an independent reference that reproduces prices published by clinics, hospitals and other providers. Each displayed price should be accompanied by a link to the provider’s source page and the date on which that source was checked.
The website does not book services, process payments, accept patient enquiries or act as an agent for a reader or a listed provider. A price-update subscription provides informational notices only.
3. No medical advice or recommendation
The website does not provide medical advice. Its content is not a recommendation to select any provider or service and is not a substitute for obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Inclusion in the catalogue is not an endorsement, accreditation, ranking or assurance of quality. A provider’s payment to MedTourism for services does not change that rule.
4. Prices and source responsibility
The provider is responsible for the accuracy, currency, scope, currency unit, tax treatment and qualifications attached to the price that it publishes. MedTourism records the source and check date but does not confirm that a displayed price remains current after that date.
Prices may change, may be withdrawn and may depend on provider-defined inclusions or exclusions. A displayed price is not a quote, offer, guarantee or confirmation of availability. Readers must verify the current price and applicable details directly on the linked provider source before relying on it.
5. No endorsement or provider relationship
MedTourism does not warrant a provider’s licence, accreditation, personnel, facilities, availability, performance or suitability merely because the provider appears in the catalogue. A link, logo, name or source citation identifies the source; it does not create a partnership, agency or endorsement.
Any relationship formed directly between a reader and a provider is separate from MedTourism. The provider remains responsible for its own publications, representations and services.
6. Reporting a data error
To report a possible error, use the contact form at https://medtourism.guide/contact/ and provide the catalogue page, the provider source link, the item that appears incorrect and, where available, a public source showing the correction. Do not include unrelated personal information.
We will review the cited sources and may correct, annotate, suspend or remove the entry. Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome or response time. Corrections do not establish liability for earlier reliance on the entry.
7. Permitted use
Readers may use the website for lawful personal reference. Without prior written permission, a user must not:
- interfere with the website or bypass security or access controls;
- use automated requests at a rate that disrupts the service;
- misrepresent catalogue content as a quote or guarantee from MedTourism;
- remove source links, check dates or notices when sharing a short extract; or
- use the website or subscription system to send unsolicited messages or collect subscriber information.
8. Intellectual property and third-party material
The website’s original selection, organization, explanatory text and presentation belong to MedTourism or its licensors. Provider names, logos, source pages and provider-authored material remain the property of their respective owners. Limited quotation and linking do not transfer ownership.
9. External links
External links are provided to identify sources and assist verification. MedTourism does not control external websites and is not responsible for their availability, security, accessibility, content or privacy practices. A reader uses an external site under that site’s terms and policies.
10. Availability and changes
We may correct, update, suspend or remove catalogue entries or website functions. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every source will remain available. The date attached to an entry describes the source check; it is not a promise of continuous monitoring.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedTourism disclaims implied warranties of accuracy, currency, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedTourism is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use or reliance on the website, external sources or provider-published information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Privacy
The optional price-update subscription is governed by the Privacy Policy and the separate consent presented at subscription. These Terms do not create consent for price-update emails.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date will be changed when an update is published. A material change applies prospectively from publication unless law requires another process.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory rights that apply under another law. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, unless applicable law requires another forum.
