Travelling to Bangkok for treatment
For visas, payment arrangements and medical documents, start with Travelling to Thailand for treatment. This page covers arrival, clinic locations and the local route for raising concerns in Bangkok.
How do I get there?
Check Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport. Tell the hospital which airport appears on your booking before arranging pickup.
Ask for the exact terminal meeting point and a contact number available when your flight arrives. Confirm the address for the first appointment and whether tests or a procedure will take place at a separate hospital. If your itinerary changes airports or flights, ask the provider to reconfirm the transport arrangement instead of assuming the original plan still applies.
Where are the clinics?
Bangkok Hospital’s headquarters lists 2 Soi Soonvijai 7, New Phetchaburi Road, Huai Khwang. Masterpiece Hospital lists 99/19 Sukhothai Road in Dusit.
These own-provider addresses are examples of different treatment locations. Ask for the building, entrance, floor and department on the appointment confirmation. Confirm the location of any laboratory visit and any later review. If the provider offers transport, have it identify which address is included and how to arrange a return pickup after an appointment that finishes later than planned.
Who can I complain to locally?
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Health Department publishes its local contact channels. Ask whether your concern falls within city services or should be directed to the national authority responsible for private hospitals and clinics.
Give the facility’s Thai and English names if available, its address and the dates involved. Ask which written form to use, whether English documents are accepted and how to retain a submission reference. Do not assume a general enquiry itself opens a formal complaint.
For national bodies and licence-checking information, see Travelling to Thailand for treatment.
What should I know about the place?
The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s medical-travel promotion has included cosmetic procedures and Bangkok providers. That promotional history is not evidence of a clinic’s present quality or a patient’s likely outcome.
