Our reading
This page reports only what clinics publish about the price and terms of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It says nothing about whether the treatment works for any purpose, and nothing here should be read that way.
Four clinics in Hungary publish a price for one session. Prices were read on the clinics' own websites between 24 October and 4 November 2026, and all are in Hungarian forints. Pressure and session length differ, so they are given where the clinic states them.
Balance Medical Center in Lenti publishes HUF 50,000 (≈ USD 153) for a 100-minute session and HUF 75,000 (≈ USD 229) for a 140-minute session, in a rigid eight-seat chamber at 2.5 atmospheres with 100% oxygen; a medical examination is listed separately at HUF 35,000 (≈ USD 107), and it states that there is no refund on cancellation. Dr. Hepp Ferenc Rehabilitation Centre in Pécs publishes HUF 15,000 (≈ USD 46) for a 60-minute session at 1.45 bar, with 90 to 95% oxygen. In Budapest, Ormos Intézet publishes HUF 17,500 (≈ USD 53) and Oxypont HUF 28,000 (≈ USD 85) for an 80-minute adult session; neither states the pressure.
For courses, Balance Medical Center publishes ten sessions at HUF 450,000 (≈ USD 1,373) or HUF 670,000 (≈ USD 2,045), depending on session length, and passes of 20 to 60 sessions from HUF 850,000 (≈ USD 2,594) to HUF 1,950,000 (≈ USD 5,952). Oxypont publishes a ten-visit pass at HUF 260,000 (≈ USD 794) and a twenty-visit pass at HUF 500,000 (≈ USD 1,526). A course price covers the whole course, a different unit from a session price.
Balance Medical Center names its doctors and states that a hyperbaric physician is on site throughout each session. The other three do not name the doctor responsible. No clinic states a guarantee, terms for a session that has to be repeated, or aftercare after the patient returns home.
