Prices and terms as each clinic publishes them on its own website, checked 26 October 2026. Converted at the reference rate of 2026-10-23 for comparison; the clinic charges in its own currency. Psychedelic-assisted therapy pairs a psychoactive substance, such as ketamine or psilocybin, with preparation, a supervised session and follow-up conversations. Some clinics and retreat centres abroad sell it as a single session, a course or a residential retreat. This page describes how providers publish the price and terms, and which prices this site compares.
This page is not legal or medical advice. The law on these substances differs between countries and changes; check the current law in your own country and in the destination before you book. The guide to the legal status of psychedelic therapy lists what official documents say, country by country.
What does it involve?
Providers describe their offer by the substance, the setting and the length of the programme:
Psilocybin-truffle retreat — a group or individual programme at a retreat centre, with intake, preparation, one or more guided sessions and integration talks. Accommodation and meals may or may not be included.
Guided truffle session without accommodation — preparation, a guided session at a venue or private setting, and follow-up calls, with no stay included.
Ketamine session — a single treatment given in a clinic under a doctor's responsibility, usually after a medical assessment.
Ketamine course — a stated number of ketamine sessions sold together, often with assessment and follow-up.
Psychedelic truffles are the underground part (sclerotia) of certain fungi, not the mushroom itself; the distinction matters for the legal position in the Netherlands. Ketamine is a licensed anaesthetic in many countries and is a different substance from psilocybin. Neither appears in the site's mental health programmes topic.
How do providers price it?
Providers publish prices in five units, and the pages here compare them separately:
Psilocybin-truffle retreat of up to 3 days.
Retreat of 4 to 7 days.
Guided truffle session without accommodation.
Ketamine, one session.
Ketamine, course.
These are separate comparisons. A three-day retreat is never compared with a six-day retreat, a retreat is never compared with a session without a stay, and ketamine prices are never compared with psilocybin prices.
What a published price covers varies widely. Some retreat prices include the room, meals, transfers, the truffles and VAT; others list the truffles, a shuttle, a private room or VAT as extras. Ketamine prices may or may not include the first medical assessment and any follow-up consultations. Prices are only comparable within the same unit, and only after reading what is included and excluded.
Which prices are compared
A provider's price is compared on this site only when all five of these rules are met:
The legal status of the substance in that country is confirmed by a primary document, such as a law, a regulation or an official answer from a government, and that status is not "prohibited".
The provider publishes the screening it carries out before treatment.
In the Netherlands, the provider states that it uses truffles (sclerotia).
Ketamine treatment is led by a physician.
The price is published on the provider's own website.
Countries whose legal status could not be confirmed from a primary document are not listed. A provider that does not meet every rule may still operate; its price is simply not shown here.
What should I ask before paying?
Which substance is used, in what form, and under which law does the provider say it operates?
What screening happens before treatment: a health questionnaire, a medication review, a psychiatric history, a physical check? Who reviews it, and can it lead to refusal?
Who is present during the session, and what are their professional qualifications? For a doctor, see how to check a doctor.
What is monitored during the session, and what is the emergency plan, including the nearest hospital?
For ketamine: which named physician is responsible, and is the setting a licensed clinic?
What exactly does the price include: accommodation, meals, transfers, the substance, VAT, integration sessions?
What follow-up is offered after you return home, and is it included?
What is refunded if you are excluded at screening, or if you cancel?
How long is the written price valid?
What this page does not tell you
This page reports published prices and terms. It does not say whether psychedelic-assisted therapy suits you or works for any purpose; that decision belongs with your own doctor, who knows your medical history and medicines. Some providers describe their programmes as non-medical, and the page reports them as the provider describes them. A legal status in the destination does not make the substance legal in your own country, and bringing any substance home may be an offence. Regulators have published warnings about these substances, summarised in the legal-status guide.
