Full-mouth reconstruction replaces the teeth in both jaws with teeth held by dental implants. This page compares the prices clinics abroad publish for the whole case and what they include.
What does it involve?
An implant is a post placed in the jawbone; an abutment on top supports the artificial teeth, as the FDA describes. When many teeth are missing, the American Dental Association says custom bridges or dentures are made to fit the implants.
Full-arch bridges — a bridge fixed to four or more implants in each jaw; see All-on-4 and All-on-6.
Shorter bridges or crowns — some clinics fit several bridges or single crowns instead.
Temporary and final teeth — the ADA notes that some patients wait up to several months before the final teeth.
Prices on this page are per case: both jaws together. A price for one jaw is a different unit and is not set against it; check that a "full-mouth" price is not for one jaw.
A published price may or may not include: extractions, the CT scan, the number of implants, temporary teeth, the final bridges and their material (acrylic, zirconia), bone grafts, sedation, hotel nights and transfers. The implant brand changes the price. See also dental implants.
What should I ask the clinic before paying?
Is the price for both jaws, with temporary and final teeth?
How many implants are in the price, and what does each extra one cost?
How many trips are needed, and how long between them?
Who places the implants, and what is the dentist's qualification? See how to check a doctor.
What happens if an implant fails or a bridge breaks: who pays for the redo and the travel?
What this page does not tell you
This page reports prices and terms that clinics publish on their own websites, with the date we checked. It does not say whether this treatment suits you or how well it will work. Those questions belong with your own dentist.
